For the past few days I have been working on an I-phone out of clay.
It was really difficult molding and flattening the clay as it was really hard. The colors I included was purple, pink and blue. Then to make it even more better I added the apple sign, back and front camera, a button and a phone case as well as the volume line. In the end I was proud of my I-Phone clay creation but destroyed it anyway because we couldn't keep the clay.

Goosebumps
One week took my class and myself to finally finish our goosebumps book study, so we can put it up in our school library.
We all had to contribute and get into groups to think about one thing we would want to include on our big cardboard paper. Then in the end the things we did include was about the author, a blurb, scary pictures, finger prints, a book saying open if you dare as well as my groups night of the living dummy series. Hopefully everybody that walks in our school library sees it and thinks that it is very cool because we put a lot of hard work into it.

Touch Rugby With Trevor
For the past three Thursdays our touch rugby couch, Trevor had been teaching us the basic skills and rules of touch including a few games we played to warm up.
Trevor taught us how to plant the ball which is when you put the ball between your legs, step over it then to the side, step back and one of your teammates is free to pick it up and run. There was also this one practice when you ran up with your dummy half, you pick it up run a little while getting touched, plant it, then your dummy half picks it up moves forward and passes it back to you. For our warm ups we played a lot of games including my favorite game where we were in a circle and heaps of balls were going around, then you would eventually drop the ball until there was only a little bit of people left.
In the end we had some touch games with girls against girls and boys against boys. In these games we used all the skills Trevor had taught us even though he still had to remind us on what we had to do. Then soon later we had to say goodbye and go back to class.

Tori Kelly
Everybody has a favorite singer right? A singer that they can listen to all the time and sing to their singers songs 24/7. Well that’s the same with me as my favorite singer is the fabulous, amazing, beautiful Tori Kelly.
She happens to be my favorite singer because she's inspiring and writes her own songs to perfection as well as, being able to sing high, low and in between with no trouble. Tori is my favorite singer because she writes music that I like to hear and her voice always sounds fabulous. But every time when I listen to her songs it feels just like she’s directing her lyrics to me so that it becomes a part of me. It feels as if she’s giving me an important message which really means something to me and will stay with me forever.

Child Hood Friends Switched At Birth
Luke Monias and Norman Barkman recently discovered they were switched at birth over 40 years ago. They were both born on the same day in Canada in 1975, grew up in the same little community and were good friends through out there lives. But as they began to grow older people started to joke around saying they look exactly the same as if they were twins. This made them very aware and both decided to take a DNA test. Soon later the results were confirmed that they were twins and had been switched at birth. Now all they want is some answers from there family.

Our Garden
Today some college students came to our school and dug up the plants outside our classroom so that we can plant new ones.
We then had to decide on one flower that we thought should be in our garden, which I decided on a fire lily. I chose this particular plant because it's something really different, interesting, cool to look at and spot on. It's a plant I hopefully think that everyone thinks is awesome and amazing that it might just be able to get a spot in front of our classroom.

Can Taylor Swift Shake This Off?
Taylor swift is well known for her song 'Shake It Off' in 2014, but now she may not be able to shake off the law suit against her.
US R&B singer Jesse Braham has accused Taylor Swift for using his words from a song that he had wrote called haters gone hate. So now Taylor is being sued for US $42 million dollars for her hit song Shake It Off which had been viewed on you tube over 1.1 billion times. Since Jesse Braham has copy write ownership over the lyrics haters gone hate and players gone play, he doesn't only want the money but his name added to the track as a writer of the song.

My Spectacular Which Costume
If I happen to be going trick or treating for Halloween I would like to go as a friendly Witch. I would have a purple shirt and skirt, a black which hat, a broom, black boots and a cauldron to put my lollies in. I would have all of these things and dress as a witch because it looks good and pretty.

Visiting My Nana
On Sunday afternoon around 1.00 pm my dad, sister and I headed to visit my nana at Auckland hospital as she was very sick.
When we arrived up at the hospital we parked the car then made our way to my nana's ward. Finally we made it and stayed a little while with her. We talked mostly about school and the rugby world cup. Eventually we got something to eat then said goodbye because it was getting late.

Shake Out Drill!
“Ding, Ding, Ding” three bells rang meaning stop, cover and hold.
At 9:15 this morning we had our first shake out drill to practice in case there was an actual earthquake. So everybody ducked under their desks and stayed there until we were allowed out next.
While we were under our desk some of us couldn't wait till we got out because it was so cramped. But then soon after we were allowed back out and everyone was very relieved.

Being tested has given me the help I need to be better than before. Although sometimes I may not have achieved what I wanted there is always next time for me to improve.

Record Breaking Roller Coaster
Created on September 21, 2015

Scheduled to open in 2016, the Valravn Birdseye will be the tallest, fastest and longest dive coaster.
Cedar Point amusement park has released a mock experience of what it will be like to ride the Valravn and it certainly isn’t a ride for the faint hearted!
Polar Bears
For the past few weeks my group including Tiperia and Suliasi created a report about polar bears. Here is just a little bit of information we learnt.
Polar bears only live in places they can hunt for food. Although they are very fussy about there food as they only love to eat ringed seals. It is also very rare for a polar bear to live until 30 years of age unless they live in a marine park. It is rare as most polar bears pass away before they can even reach the age of 25.
But if polar bears aren't raised in a marine park its best to stay away as some polar bears will attack. So be aware every time you may come across a polar bear especially if its not friendly!

My Wood Tech Project
Today I received my little drawer that I made in wood tech at Tamaki College.
It took a few weeks to make and a lot of measuring as well as sawing but I finished it in the end. The first thing I had to do was plan out what I wanted to do and got given a piece of wood to start off with. I then measured it out so that I could saw it and make my first cut. Soon I was getting the hang of it and was taught how all the tools worked including how to chisel which was quite fun. A few weeks later I had completed my little drawer and was allowed to take it home.

Special Visitor
Today Myron Simpson came to our school and talked to us mostly about racing as well as why it is good to read. Myron shared his bike, helmet, skin suit and shoes with us teaching everyone that his gear is all aerodynamic. Aerodynamic means that they were all built light so that he can cut straight through the air and wind. Myron also said the fastest he has gone on his bike was 110 kilometers per hour which amazed us all. Soon he let some of us wear his gear and talked about reading then finished by presenting the duffy books.

Yesterday Petia from mad messenger came and told room 11 and 12 that it's alright to speak up. That it's ok to believe in yourself and forget about all nasty comments people have said about you. In the end he said that we can be anybody we want. Even a superhero and that's when he drew Iron Man. We took a photo with the Iron Man painting and said goodbye to Petia.
