Huge Earthquake Hits Afghanistan
A 7.5 magnitude earthquake hit northern Afghanistan in the mountainous Hindu Kush region about 250 kilometers north of Kabul. It hit about 1.00 pm on Monday and was so big that Pakistan and northern India could feel it. There were quite a few deaths so far with 167 dead that had been found already but there still could be more.

Shake Out Drill!
“Ding, Ding, Ding” three bells rang meaning stop, cover and hold.
At 9:15 this morning we had our first shake out drill to practice in case there was an actual earthquake. So everybody ducked under their desks and stayed there until we were allowed out next.
While we were under our desk some of us couldn't wait till we got out because it was so cramped. But then soon after we were allowed back out and everyone was very relieved.
